I first started writing because my mind was too full
I wanted to empty it of the junk and recover the things of worth
As I made more room in my head I became set on filling it again and I was stuffing it with anything I was told was valuable
Somehow my mind kept getting cluttered
Except this junk was more decorative
I hate labeling myself because often labels are discarded, tarnished, and fleeting, but if I were to label myself as anything it would be a philosopher
I've always had my attention directed upward for better or for worse
I studied philosophy so I could learn more answers
I learned that philosophy isn't so much of learning but unlearning what is not true
I asked many questions and was only met with more
I watched the reasonable run out of reasons
I wanted to hold the truth and fill what I knew I was missing
but I couldn't identify what I seem to believe I can't live without
Since the ancient world questions have pissed people off
And Philosophers have been seen as silly people chasing dead ends
I like dead ends
Because this life is one
They're the only proof you were really looking
I am a philosopher because thirst has always been towards the truth
The thing that is unchanging even when outside of perception
Whatever it may be
I hope to find it and I hope it knows I'm looking for it
This blog is a record of the turns
